For youth that are exhibiting at national shows, some shows may require a certification in quality assurance. Examples of these types of shows are: World Pork Expo, National Junior Swine Association shows, etc. Wisconsin’s approved program for quality assurance training is the Meat Animal Quality Assurance (MAQA) program. Since the program is going through a transition year and management of the certifications is a little different than in previous years, you will have to request documentation of your MAQA certification.
Please fill out this google form https://goo.gl/forms/DShehcGPuei38i4c2 requesting the certification. An email will follow with the needed information in order to show at national shows. Please make sure the information in the google form it typed in correctly.
This is only for NATIONAL SHOWS, county and state fair information will be shared from my office directly to county and state fairs.
